Rachel G. Goodman, MD, FAAP
Dr. Rachel Goodman grew up in West Virginia. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College, and got her Medical Degree from West Virginia University. She then completed her Pediatrics Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Her interest in public health has taken her to Alaska, an Indian reservation in Arizona, rural West Virginia, and finally to Chicago. Dr. Goodman has been with Elm Street Pediatrics since 2008.
Dr. Goodman is board certified in Pediatrics. She is on staff at North Shore University Healthcare Systems, covering Evanston, Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals. In truth, Dr. Goodman enjoys the broad spectrum of pediatrics... she enjoys working with new families on breastfeeding issues, the challenges of dealing with toddlers, all the unique issues of adolescents, and everything in between. She also enjoys managing asthma, allergies, and eczema, and is the practice expert on medical record computer documentation and management.
She lives in Wilmette with her husband and their two young boys.
