Joshua D. Levin, MD, FAAP
Dr. Levin is a board-certified pediatrician and has been a full-time physician with Elm Street Pediatrics since July of 2007. He grew up on the North Shore and went to high school at Glenbrook North, followed by getting his bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2004, and completed his Pediatric Residency at Children's Memorial Hospital in Lincoln Park in Chicago in 2007.
Dr. Levin is on staff at North Shore University Healthcare Systems, covering Evanston, Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals. He is also on staff at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Levin is a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics with Northwestern University. During the 2009-2010 academic year, he was awarded an Outstanding Teacher of Pediatrics award from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. In July of 2011, he was nominated as one of Chicago's Favorite Kids Docs by Chicago Parent magazine, and was recognized as such in their annual Chicago Parent 2011 magazine.
Dr. Levin lives in the northern suburbs with his wife Laura, who is also in Pediatrics, and their daughter Hallie. He truly enjoys his time at Elm Street Pediatrics, getting to know his patients and their families. His varied interests include ADD/ ADHD, asthma, allergies, eczema, travel medicine, and caring for adopted patients.
