We are again seeing cases of pertussis, or Whooping Cough, in our community.  Although children are vaccinated beginning at 2 months old, we are seeing "breakthrough" cases in vaccinated children.  Please contact us if you have any concerns, and see our BLOG for details.

Spring is here, along with pollens, grasses, trees, and weeds.  For many, that also means the arrival of sneezing, sniffling, itchy eyes, and other allergy symptoms.  If you are allergic, its time to start on your seasonal medications.  Call us with any questions or concerns.

Illinois' Attorney General Lisa Madigan thinks so.  She is attempting to pass legislation outlawing baby bumpers used in cribs.  Citing several studies, she says infants using bumpers are at risk for suffocation and strangulation.  The AAP is anti-bumpers as well; our BLOG has details.
